VicTsing Lens Pack for Smartphones! Cool!
This awesome little lens pack turns your smartphone into a macro camera and also a super wide angle beast! I honestly didn't have much hope for it as I've tried kits like these in the past and they were less than impressive. This one however was actually pretty good. The quality of the lenses are better than expected with metal bezels and real glass lenses. The quality of the images produced were excellent! Both wide and macro were crystal clear. If I haven't uploaded any wide shots I will soon! The kit comes in a hard protective case which has a carabiner so you can attach it to your camera bag etc for easy transport. Inside there are three lenses (although two are screwed together so it looks like only two). There is also a cleaning cloth and instructions. For wide angle shots you use the wide angle lens (Sherlock Holmes here!). For macro you can use the 12x lens or coupled with the extra lens it will take it up to 24x magnification. This extra lens bit also has a clear light diffuser attached so that even if your in touching distance from your subject, light will still get in to make sure you can see it through the lens - brilliant! Thumbs up from me!

Rode Video Micro
Awesome little microphone that you can take almost anywhere! Great design. All metal construction makes this little mic very strong. It feels as though it can withstand drops and knocks easily. It comes with a dead cat, a mount, and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm connection lead that is springy so you can extend it if you wish.

Casio DB-360N-1Aef Uni-sex Digital Watch
I must say, this watch is simple, but I love it! Unlike a lot of todays watches that are trying to be more than a watch. This one doesn't do that. The screen is so easy to read and uncluttered. The strap is strong and very easy to adjust. The buttons on the side of the watch face are easy to press and don't leave indents in your fingertips once pressed a few times. The front two buttons are a god send! There's truly nothing not to like about this watch! Good job CASIO-O-O-O-O!!! So with this little beauty you can tell the time, see the date and day, set up to 5 alarms, use the stopwatch, use the timer, and finally, save peoples phone numbers in the databank. It doesn't handle text messages or examine your supersizing habits but what it does do it does very well and costs a fraction of a modern tech watch. If you're like me and want a watch to just be a watch, then this is the one you want. I will note though that this watch is a small face watch. With a case diameter of only 38 millimetres, it might look small on a thick wrist. I have quite thin wrists so this fine for me as I don't like big-face watches. It is also thin at only 11mm!! The watch works as expected and is simple to set up and use. The only word of caution I would give is this... when the battery runs out, take it to a watch repair guy. I tried changing it (like i've done with other watches before it) but it turned out badly! I bent a metal thing that covers the battery, and could not for the life of me remember, NOR work out, how it went back in! This made the watch practically useless but I sort of forced it all back together and for some strange reason it came back alive!!! So it now works again but the beepers are quiet so it's no good as an alarm. With that aside it is a great watch if you want something cheap and cheerful to wear to work or whatever!

KASHIDUN Mens Watches Luxury Army Wrist Watch
I'm not going to lie, this is a nice looking watch. Smart, black appearance, it'll look good with any outfit. The face is big at 41. 08mm diameter, but not too fat off the rist at only 10. 65mm thick. The box it comes in looks nice, with a crocodile-like skin embossed and magnetic fastener. It comes with a cleaning cloth (always nice to see) and instruction guide. It doesn't include a link remover tool, but from experience at this price, the tools usually boxed with these priced watches are too weak and usually bend quite easily. I would always recommend buying yourself a watch remover kit for this purpose. The one I have is here: Watch Tool. The watch itself seems decent quality. The only downside to it is the small chronograph faces. Only one of them actually works. The bottom one. And this one, when reset doesn't seem to reset to zero. Instead it resets to one (ish). So not great for accuracy. The other two are just for show. Bummer! The clasp on this watch I like very much. The style of it is new and original. You don't actually see the clasp when it is done up. It sort of folds behind the black, brushed metal, strap. See video. If you're not bothered about the chronograph clocks then go for it. It's a nice black military style watch that looks good and stylish!

LIGE lige9821 Mens Watch - Small Problem
I bought this watch as my 15 yr old son decided he wanted to move from digital watches to analogue. I thought at this price it was a good way to start him off. The watch is large but not too big (not a BIG face watch). It is pretty heavy. Not the heaviest but has a good weight to it. I like the design of the face. But am not fussy about the piano-black bezzel. The face itself has a stylish, non-semetrical look to it which gives it a sporty vibe. There are 3 chronograph faces within the main face. One for half-seconds, one for seconds and one for minutes. Although I did have trouble with these as the half second one stopped while using the chronograph feature and I have no idea why. Resetting was also difficult. I guess the watch reflects it's price here. My son has been using it for a few months now and says it keeps time quite well. He also really likes the design. After a few weeks of wearing it though, one of the link-ends became detatched form the wrist band (see photos). As I removed links for it to fit him originally, I had spares so I just swapped the broken link with another one but this is obviously not good! If another few go at any time then I will run out of links to swap them with. All in all at this price it is a decent watch. Doesn't have the quality of a Casio but it is stylish and works. I wouldn't buy one again mind you.

Kecay 18091 Mount Adapter with Aperture Control!! (Nikon E - Sony F)
If, like me you have decided to make the switch to a mirror-less camera, there's a good chance it's a Sony. They are producing some really great cameras in their mirror-less range. And although Kecay are making lens adaptors for all makes and models of cameras, here we will look at the Nikon F-mount, 'DX' type lens to the Sony NEX/Alpha body ring. This adaptor is surprisingly good quality for the price tag. It's all metal design gives it a rock solid feel and it's appearance makes it look good between your lens and camera body. Even without instructions it is very straight forward to fit. There's a red dot to line up your lens and once clicked into place there is no movement at all! Then snap it to your camera body and it sits firmly there too. On the side of this adaptor there is a ring that will adjust the aperture manually. There is a small tab inside the ring adaptor that goes into your lens to control the aperture blades. Unfortunately there is no markings on the side of the ring to tell you what aperture you've set it to so you will have to guess. And the ring only has around 1cm of movement so it would be hard to set it at a certain aperture. This wont be a problem for most people though as just being able to use your old Nikon lenses without purchasing (expensive) Sony equivalents is enough make this a non-issue. The only other downside is the release lever to release the adaptor form the camera body is a triangle shaped peice of metal. This digs into your fingertip while pushing it in and so is a little uncomfortable. But it works and seems solid enough so... This adaptor isn't tiny though so it does add around an inch and a half to your lens length so be aware that your lenses will look huge with this adaptor fitted and probably won't fit in your camera bag so you might need to disconnect it while in transit, unless you have a large storage compartment in your bag. All in all I love it. I'm happy I bought it and would definitely recommend it to anyone with this lens/body combination.

Casio Collection Mens Watch AE-1200WHD-1AVEF
I love these retro watches! Not sure why. Maybe due to my childhood watching 80's and 90's movies where these watches were state of the art and very hi-tech in their design and function. Through the early 90's it was so cool to have a watch like this in school and if you had one, everyone wanted it! Well I couldn't resist this when I saw it. I ticks all the boxes of what I want in a watch. Easy to read screen. Awesome aluminium finish to the face and band of the watch. It just oozes Special Ops Agent or Spy! And speaking of spies... it was actually based on a Seiko watch worn by James Bond in one of the earlier Bond movies. I couldn't tell you which one as I'm not a fan, but as the Seiko models had been discontinued, Casio realised they could scratch the itch of the Bond fans by releasing this. And scratch it they did! The watch itself is larger than your normal Casio. It's large, square design with bezel-ed corners give it a very 80's computer tech feel. The screen is split into four different parts. One for the time, one for the world timezone display, and one for the seconds displayed as a 'radar' type panel. Lastly there is a thin horizontal panel at the top right hand side which will display any alarms you have set. The watch is easy enough to set up. I'm not going to go into the setup but it is set in the usual way you'd expect digital watches to be set up. Nothing difficult there. I had a nice quality feel to it and the band also feels strong. The band is aluminium in design and easy enough to remove/add links. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the bottom right hand button. This button changes the time display to the world time. And this button seems to easily get accidentally pressed by your wrist a lot and so when looking at the time you will find it has changed to a different country. It's not a massive deal as you can just press this button a few more times until it cycles back to the 'home' time. Just something that niggles me. Other than that I love this watch!! Well done CASIO!! Favolcano Bluetooth Controller for Smartphones
Neat little gadget. This item i use daily in my works van. My steering wheel is too thick for the wheel clip due to me having a steering wheel cover on it BUT what i do instead is clip it to my indicator stick. Works a charm. I bought it in December 2017 and the battery lasted around 6-7 months but again I use it daily at work and I'm constantly skipping songs and adjusting volume with it so it's done well. I just changed the battery (July 2018). The device itself is very good quality. It is a nice mat plastic on the face of it and the buttons feel nice to press. Not like cheap buttons at all, they have a quality feel and hardly an audible click noise at all. The rim of it is light weight aluminium with tiny ridges going around it. It does come with a circular sticker that you can use to mount the device directly to your dash if you choose to not use the wheel clip. The clip is also of good quality and is very strong too so you wont brake it very easily. Also included is a small lanyard if you wanted to use that. Pairing it with my phone took a few minutes. But that could of been my phones fault. I think i had it too close to my phone. Once I moved it a bit further away my phone picked it up no problem. And in all fairness it never fails ot connect ot my phone either. As soon as I'm in range of it, I hold the play button on the device for around 3 seconds and it wakes it up and connects immediately. I'm very happy with it and rate it full stars and would recommend it to anyone.

Wwoor Mens Quartz Watch
I'm not going to lie, this is a nice, smart looking watch. I bought the black faced one. It is well built and feels good quality. The buttons are a bit stiff but better than being to easily pressed. On the main face you have the analogue hands, including a 'seconds' hand. You also have three smaller 'faces'. Normally these would be for a chronograph function. But not with this watch. For some reason the designer decided against chronograph and went with a 'Day of the week' indicator, 'Date of the month' indicator and, strangest of all, a '24 hour' indicator. Now, I can see the need for a 'date of the month' indicator but I really don't see the need for the other two. As for the 'Day of the week' face, it has initials indicating what day it is (M for Monday etc). Do you really need this? Granted I do sometimes forget what day it is but it's usually when I first wake up in the morning and I don't wear my watch to bed in any case. The rest of the day I'm quite aware of what day it is. The '24 hour' face has 24 notches to tell you what hour of the day it is. Why? The main watch face shows you the time so if you really need to know the 'military' hour then you'd either already know how to convert it or you should learn. There is absolutely no need for a seperate face for this. Most watches would just print this info on the main clock face if they decided to include it. Rant over, or is it?... The 'Date of month' face. Terrible design! The notches are so close together it's practically impossible to see what it says. Why not just have it displayed in a window like other watches? Yes I know it's nice to be different, and I applaud that, I really do, but at least design it in a way that is practical and not pointless! I'm not going to go on and on about it (see video for a better look) so will just finish in saying it came in a nice box and it was easy to remove links. The catch is also good quality and doesn't undo by itself. Just a shame about the little faces in the dial.

Sony ICD UX560 Voice Recorder
Okay I bought this hoping for great quality audio. I realize this isn't a high end recording device but is in fact a dicta-phone. But for the price I thought it would be at least 'really good audio'. The recorder comes well packaged. A little too well in fact as it takes quite some effort to get it out of the plastic molded packaging. The device itself is small. It has a stunning design (which I think is why it has become my most successful video on YT) which makes it very appealing to the buyer. The menu is ok. You can find your way around easily enough. Setting it up was easy. One of the first things it asks you is if you want the annoying beep tone that sounds every time you press a button turned off. I clicked YES! Great start. The software is pretty straight forward to use so anyone can get straight into using this device without going through all the instructions (which is a large fold out piece of paper. Seriously – it's huge!). This device has a headphone out jack, takes micro SD cards, and can be used as a music player for those who may want to use it that way. It has a microphone-in 3.5mm jack as well as the built-in microphones on the top of the device. Using the built-in mics the sound is ok. If you use it this way then only expect dicta-phone quality. It's not real 'production quality' audio but is good enough for recording memo's, meetings etc. If you want better quality then you must use an external microphone input. And then the quality will depend on two things. 1, the quality of the microphone. And, 2, the settings of the device. You can set the bit rate which range from 48kbps – 192kbps in MP3 mode, or 1411kbps in WAV mode. You also have a Noise Cut filter and a Low Cut filter setting. The built in memory is 4GB and it says you have 5h35m38s worth of recording time. This is a useful feature. The time on an SD card would of course depend on the SD card size. Of the tests I did with this, the top setting of 1411kbps equaled around 10mb per minute in file size which is decently small. This means 10 minutes of audio will be around 100mbs. This recorder has a VOR function which means it can be voice activated. This way you can set it up when you go to sleep for example and it will record any sounds you make throughout the night and pause the recording during quiet periods. On the whole this is a decent dicta-phone. It is not going to be much use as a production recorder though if you're looking for that type of thing. For that I would recommend a Tascam or a Zoom. When I did a test between this and my smartphone I found that the smartphone recording came out better. But on reflection this device still has an advantage over the smartphone in the sense that this thing can be kept recording for long periods, without too much strain on battery life. Also a phone will have notifications and calls come through that will mess up a recording. This device won't as it is a dedicated audio recorder and nothing else. But, and it's a BIG BUT (I like big buts and I cannot lie!), I can't help but feel it is overpriced for what you get! A Tascam model at this price would out preform this. I think you really are paying for the Sony name and the stunning design and size/weight with this. If size and weight are important to you then great. Otherwise I'd probably consider something else.
